The following provides information about giving your staff access to view or maintain ESOL student rosters.
When adding the i4see system to a user, there are three primary roles that will provide them with ESOL access. When you add a user choose from one of these three roles (See a, b, c below).
Any of these three roles will provide users with access to “Students”->”Real Time ESOL Student Roster”
...
a. General User: these users will have full access to i4see – they can upload submissions, view submissions, etc. They can also view the ESOL Student Roster.
b. Monitor – ESOL: these users will be limited to the Real Time ESOL Student Roster and searching for students. They will not be able to upload or view submissions.
c. ESOL Monitor – Read Only: These users are also limited to the ESOL Roster, but also, cannot add or edit students. They can only view the student records.
...
When adding a role, make sure you add the correct district and school limitations.

If you want the ESOL user to be able to certify ESOL reports, they have to have district level access. If you leave the “School” blank, then the user will have the district level access. If the user should only have access to s subset of schools, then you can enter the school when creating the role. But again, they will not be able to certify if the role limits them to a school. |
