CATE Training Home
Welcome to the CATE Training Page!
CATE stands for Career and Technical Education.
CATE is the data system used to collect data from the CTE Centers. The system consists of two parts. The ‘CATE Workbench’ is where all data files are uploaded. ‘CATE’ is where that data is stored and accessible to the CTE Centers. To get the required information there are three different data submission types, that are submitted at three different times in the school year.
CATE submissions are submitted at three separate times of the year. At the beginning the middle and end of the school year. (BOY/MOY/EOY)
There are three types of data submission that are required at these times, to collect the required information for students participating in CTE Programs. The information collected is used for transportation reimbursement, federal accountability requirements as well as career cluster enrollment reports.
The submissions are the CATE Course, the CATE (BOY/MOY/EOY) depending on the time of the year, and the CATE Student Course.
