Application Processing Information
Check the status of your application.
General Information
In most cases, your application will be reviewed in the order in which it is received in the queue.
Applications submitted via paper/check may take an additional 4-6 weeks to process to the queue for complete application check.
We will contact you via the email addresses in your profile regarding your application status. You can also opt in to text notifications.
You can check the status of your application at myNHDOE EIS/Educator/View Your Credentials.
Please note: Demonstrated Competencies: Portfolio/Oral Board and Site-Based Licensing Plan pathways have additional deadlines.
Complete Applications
During submission of an application/fee, you will be notified via email of any documentation required to consider your application complete to initiate evaluation of your application.
You will have 30 days to submit the documentation required. If the documentation is not received within 30 days of our notification to you of an incomplete application, your application will permanently close. A new application/fee will need to be submitted if you wish to have any new documentation evaluated.
Application Evaluation
Once a complete application has been submitted within the deadline, your application will be place in a queue for evaluation. Within 60 days of application completion date, our office will send notification of:
approval in the form of the digital credential for which you applied, or
a denial, due to Code of Conduct violation or failure to meet the requirements
a conditional approval, which will outline any specific documentation required to show you meet the requirements. You will have 120 days to complete the conditional approval requirements. After 120 days of not meeting conditional approval requirements, your application will be permanently closed and the application/fee process will begin again should you wish to continue to pursue that pathway/endorsement.
Application Status
Once an application permanently closes due to a missed deadline, a new application/fee is needed to have any new documentation reviewed.
Incomplete - you have not submitted enough documentation for us to begin the evaluation of your application. You will have 30 days to submit the required documentation or your application will permanently close.
Review - your application is complete and in queue, but has not been fully evaluated yet.
MoreInfo - your application has been initially reviewed and you have been sent an email requesting additional documentation. You can view a copy of this email in your myNHDOE/EIS/Educator/View Your Credentials/Emails.
Once documentation is uploaded, your application will automatically re-open in queue for re-review.
Expedited Review
If you have a job offer contingent upon the issuance of your credential, please have your potential employer submit a Credentialing Help Desk request for an expedited review. Applicants are unable to request an expedited review of their own application.
