EIS: Manage Your Teacher Assignments

 

SAU/District/School staff should be reviewed in EIS after data is submitted to NHED in the fall. Corrections should be made in EIS and the local data.

Teachers Tab Search

  • Select the staff you wish to review:

    • The SAU, District, School will default depending on the role assigned to you in myNHDOE.

    • The less restrictive access you have, the more options you will see in the drop downs.

    • SAU office staff (under the District drop down): staff assigned to SAU only with no assigned District/School.

    • District office staff (under the School drop down): staff assigned to SAU/District only with no assigned School.

  • Select the school year: the system defaults to the current school year, but if you must make adjustments for staff no longer employed, you can select the most recent year of employment to find them on the list.


Staff Check

  • Check for names you do not recognize.

    • These staff may have been entered into EIS due to a typo in an Ed ID in the local data/data submission. The hire date will need to be deleted for these staff. Confirm the correct staff is entered in EIS and local data.

    • Last names may not be updated in EIS - these staff should submit a Name Change Request.

  • Check for staff with no courses/assignments.

    • Determine if the staff member has left employment and must have an End Date entered.

    • Determine if the staff member is still employed and must have an assignment entered.

  • Check for staff that have left employment and are still being reported. An End Date will need to be entered for these staff.

  • Check for assignments that do not appear correct.

    • Update the assignment in EIS and local data.
