CALENDAR SESSIONS: Data dictionary page link
Identifies enrollment periods and daily hours of instruction within the academic year.
Districts may need to adjust their hours of instruction from one part of the year to another (e.g., due to snow days), which can be done by reporting multiple enrollment periods (sessions)
The calendar session details will be used to calculate student membership at the school.
Upon logging in to iNHDEX on 2/21/25, districts will find that their three calendar-related submissions have been imported from i4see and are currently In Progress.
All three Calendar submissions (Calendar, Blocking Days, and Calendar Sessions) must be submitted BEFORE districts can proceed with their other Middle of Year submissions
NOTE: “Instructional time” means the period of time during which pupils are actively working toward achieving educational objectives under the supervision of an educator or other staff member; it cannot include lunch time, home room periods, passing time, breaks, and extended recess. Elementary schools may only count 30 minutes of recess towards instructional time.
Quick View:
Districts can choose their preferred calendar compliance method (hours or half days) within the Calendar Sessions submission screen
Log in to iNHDEX>State Reporting>Calendar> District
Districts should DOWNLOAD the CSV of the data for each of the three submissions, as well as any Errors, and save the files locally
IF UPDATES ARE NECESSARY, districts should update the newly downloaded submission file(s), then RE-IMPORT the FULL files into iNHDEX.
This resubmission will overwrite what was imported from i4see
Once the calendar submissions are validated and correct, the district must Submit to NHED
This satisfies the required submission precondition to allow the district to proceed with other submissions New iNHDEX Elements: Calendar
