General guidelines for all submissions

Additional Resources:

Tasks to Complete Before A Submission Window Opens

  • Ensure all iNHDEX users are up-to-date and have correct user roles assigned.

  • Validate your data.

  • The next steps will vary slightly depending on what SIS system you use.

Tasks to Complete During an Active Submission Window

  • Submit your single district-level file, including out of district (OOD) students (if applicable).

  • Cross-district errors are generated based on other district’s SUBMITTED data. This means the first district to upload and validate a file will be able to submit that file to NHED, but subsequent districts that have a cross-district conflicts involving that district will NOT be able to submit until the conflict is resolved.

  • If any cross-district conflicts exist, the first district to upload their data will be able to submit. Subsequent districts with the same cross-district conflict will not be able to submit their file until the cross-district errors are resolved.

  • Resolve all cross-district issues (if any). Open a help desk ticket only if you need NHED to intervene in resolving cross-district conflicts.

  • Depending on the window, log-in to i4see and verify that your submissions have been posted to your workqueue. Submissions will post to i4see within 2 hours of submission.

Certification Tasks:

  • For the 24/25 EOY reporting window, you will need to complete certification in i4see.

    • That functionality will be  moved to iNHDEX in the 25/26 school year.
